The Giants are close to signing Mark DeRosa and re-signing Juan Uribe. What do you think of that?
The SF Giants are close to re-signing Juan Uribe for 1 year and signing Mark DeRosa for 2 years for 12 million. I like both deals, but I think DeRosa is getting to high of an offer. I mean 6 million A year is high for a player that only batted an overall .250 last year. The Giants are going in the right direction though, they need his added pop with 23 home runs last year. I think if they sign another solid hitter; say Adam LaRoche, they will have all the needed weapons to get into the playoffs and hopefully win the division. Voice your thoughts.
I hope beyond all hope that this doesn't turn into a Rowand, Winn, and Renteria thing again. This organization needs to move past those horrible signings and I pray that Mark DeRosa isn't another Brian Sabean slip-up.
